Indonesian Weekend

Last weekend I was at Jakarta for a workshop on my new hobby. It was a few days in the hotel confrence room and luckily I did manage to get out for a bit.

View from my hotel room. Couldn't do much as the windows were dirty, and I couldn't open them (safety concerns).

I was in Jakarta maybe more than 10 years ago, and even then the traffic was intense. As soon as you hop onto the taxi your thrown into chaotic traffic which somehow manage to avoid accidents. Miracles.

Anyways I would like to share the photos taken after the workshop. Where we headed to Panimbang, west of Jakarta about 3-4 hours drive.

Still the dusty road

Padi growing

Why the hotel has bears is beyond me

Funny

Taxi driver said this officer was very fierce, and he got fined by him before.

Looks interesting, how to get down there?

Long queue

Today I saw someone remarked online that Kuching traffic was at a standstill. Obviously he/ she  has never been out of the country :)

Before leaving for home
