It was another famous pazuzushot.com model shooting outing. Thanks to him, for organizing and coordinating everything, and finding pretty models for us to shoot. Part of the reason why we are re-shooting Cynthia and friends is because Stephen met Cynthia at her brothers wedding and he was smitten! Don't believe? Let me tell you how I spent my countdown . . .

I was watching a movie which I downloaded called Resident Evil - Degeneration.

Resident Evil? Yeah, its the animated version. And the storyline follows from the games. Do a search and you will know what I'm talking about. I didn't even know that it was a new movie... As there was not much news about it, anywhere.

Last weekend I was in KL again. from the 19th till the 22nd December 2008 to record the final round of GRA. Interestingly I only spent less than RM 150.00 this trip. Bought myself a cap, and some sweets. Probably because this trip down, costed me RM 800+ in flight. Due to the fact that the race was postponed, I had to reschedule my flight. Either pay up another RM 400 or lose the RM 400. So why not pay another RM 400 to be with friends ?

Anyway I'll post more about that later. Its now 2.11 AM. I had some friends over for a pot luck dinner and exchange some gifts. hehe more pics to come. There was a huge mountain of food. Left about 10%. So its good gathering after all.

As per normal, the AirAsia flight KL to Kuching delayed. Was suppose to reach Kuching about 8.30pm, ended up arriving at 9.05pm. Flight AK5212. There was no delay for Aslina's flight from KL to Kota Kinabalu. But then again she, did nearly miss her flight. Because we were having McDonalds when we were at the LCCT. I'm not sure if it's my imagination or something, the amount of flies at the McDonalds seem to be at an annoying level.

As we were boarding the plane, it was AirAsia's policy to have the elderly and parents with young child to go board first. Which was very nice of them. This time there was a funny incident, so me and Lucy were boarding the plane and by the 7th row, we wanted to sit on some empty sits there but noticed got a hand bag on the corner seat. And on the 10th row was a makcik. Looking sternly at us when we tried to move into the seats without the bag. It was at the moment that the air stewardess came up to the makcik and said "You cannot reserve the seats." then the makcik said, "we are a family and we cannot be separated". Air stewardess said "But free seating is our policy" and the makcik hissed at her. I just smiled a walked a few rows back and took our seat. LOL!

So we landed just after 1hour 20 mins of flight. AirAsia really flies! When we landed it was raining heavily. While the plan was taxiing to the parking area, the plane slowed down tremendously and the passengers thought that the plane was coming to a halt, so almost everyone got up and started to unload their luggage from the overhead compartment when one of the flight attendant came and ask every one to sit down, maybe were looking at him confused and he got angry increased his tone of voice and when closing the door of the overhead compartment he slammed it shut. LOL. Don't care.

The only other person I know of who was going was Allen. The rest of my photography friends were not interested to go. Oh well. I guess they have better things to do like getting their hair cut or something.

If I was not mistaken there was about 15 tables or so. Maybe slightly less and the turn out, for me was less than expected. As the cosplay/anime movement so far I have seen has been really active and strong, yet I didn't see many of the cosplayers turn up. Strange. If all of them turned up, and everyone brought a guest I'm sure the place will be filled to the brim.

Actually I was not interested to go to the Carnival. But during the sunday afternoon I was having tea with Alvin and Steven. Then out of bordom we went to have vegetarian dinner. Then they all were going and Micheal came a long as was also going. I found out that Micheal had some gals there as well. And since I had my camera gear with me. I decided to tag along, eventho I was not feeling well yet.

It was my first time to the Centre, didn't realise it was so big and spacious inside. Anyways we only attended the evening portion of the event. Not the blogger work shop from 1 to 3pm. I was quite surprised at the amount of people who turned up.

DaSolve and Irene came by the cat hotel to pick me up. And we drove up to meet the two pretty models Alice and Hui Hui.

When we reached the park the sun was no where to be seen and there was a lot of grey cloud over the park. DaSolve quickly whipped out the reflector and we tried our best to direct the models, turns out me and DaSolve were quite clueless about posing the models, well especially me. The poses in the gallery is all DaSolve's hardwork :D

After about an hour the weather was warming up. So we all decided to take some rest, as everyone was sweating. So Irene suggested that we move to another location. A hotel! sweet, air condition. Only question on our minds was if the management would not allow us to do shoot in their lobby. Anyways we went over and gave it our best effort.

So I stay home (not that I was going to go out or anything cos I was still kinda sick after Miri [3 week and counting]), rested and wacthed some movies. I was not really keen to view the car at night. And I was not expecting much of it. By 10pm drove to meet the guy at a coffeeshop. Then off we went trailing behind his Kancil to an unknown destination in the middle of the night.

The drive was about 25mins. And after that we headed off the main road into small kampung road. And drove another 6-8 mins.

Then we stopped and walked for another 4-5 mins. As it was kind of drizzling and the road was muddy and slippery. There were no lights along the way as the house was a kampung house.

Anyways after much hassle we reached the car and I inspeted it the best I could in the middle of the night in the dark. Had to use the light from the hand phones to see anything. But I can tell over all the car was still quite solid. And the mechanic who introduced the car told use that the under carriage was still in good condition.
