Wedding days x3

What a week, I attended one wedding and covered two weddings (Penang). The first one was because I had nothing to do therefore I joined Ken Yeoh for the shooting. Have to follow the professional and see how its done! It was a very long and tiring Sunday. The first couple was Choon Siang & Yoke Ling. I will only be posting maybe a handful of pictures as this was a paid job for Ken, wont want to upset the clients now ya?

Back from Penang

Just a quick update.

Landed last night from Penang at around 8pm. What a tiring trip. Had heaps of nice food. Met up with my buddy Ken Yeoh. Got to play StarCraft2. Sat on the Sachs Maddass 125. Shot two weddings in two days back to back. Learned many things, especially realizing that I'm off my game. Missed many nice moments, and kept on looking for the right setting. Practice makes perfect. I need to practice more, tomorrow there I'm attending another wedding. I will bring my camera and try to capture some nice moments.

Three weddings in four days. Its very exhaustive. Ugh, not feeling too good. I need to sleep now.

Air Itam Famous Duck Rice

Ken and Yenly picked me up just now around midnight and we headed off to tapao (take away) some supper.

Ken brought me to a Famous Air Itam Duck Rice stall. Arrived there and saw that there was a queue a the stall. We were probably the 5th in line. Even then it took us about 15 mins before it was our turn to place the order.

Penang 2009 day 2

Day two was 30 May 2009 (Saturday)

Woke up quite early and waited to meet up with Shaled for our photo session. It was raining in the morning. Then she was late, her friends where late and end up we reached the location of the shoot by about 1pm! haha! While it was cloudy and gray, the sun manage to gave all of us a good tan.

Penang 2009

My personal trip to Penang was two years ago. Last year I did go I think once or twice for training. That did not leave me much time to go around. So this trip I took some leaves and coincide it with the Gawai public holidays. This trip was my longest trip. I flew to Penang on 28th May 2009. Arrived at 30 mins to midnight. Waited at the airport for Ken to pick me up. I was crashing at his house for the duration of the trip. Anyways instead of heading to his house, we headed to Queensbay Mall for the midnight screening of the Terminator: Salvation. It was an OKAY movie for me. The effects were superb, the story line was acceptable. But somehow, I was hoping for more. I’m a huge fan of the Terminator series. From T1 to the TV series. Oh well. At least its better than the previous installment. 

So actually my trip started on 29th May 2009 (Friday). Ken had to work, So I followed him around for a bit then he left me to go find my way around Georgetown. It was 11 am and the sun was scorching. I decided to do what tourist in Penang do, take a trishaw ride. Yup. It was RM 20 per hour. I was thinking sure, I’ll visit all the temples and stuff, jump off, take a few snaps and move to the next interesting place. At the end of it, it was about three hours and a half. RM 70! But I did see a lot of charming Georgetown. Only thing was it was really scary on the trishaw, as some places were really tight, and we had to maneuver all over.
